Iowa City, IA - The Iowa World Language Association (IWLA) is pleased to announce that the 2019 Post-Secondary Educator of the Year has been awarded to Dr. Pamela Wesely, Associate Professor of Foreign Language and ESL Education at The University of Iowa. The award presentation was held during the luncheon of the 2019 Iowa World Language Association’s annual fall conference at the The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa on Saturday, October 5th, 2019. This honor is bestowed on an individual who “exemplifies the best in teaching at his/her particular level and who has provided outstanding service to the profession in the state of Iowa.” She has been described as someone who “goes above and beyond her responsibilities as a professor and a member of the World Language education community.” Please join us in congratulating Dr. Pamela Wesley as the IWLA Post-Secondary Educator of the Year!
