Adjunct Instructor of Spanish, Drake University

The Department of World Languages & Cultures invites applications for adjunct instructors of Spanish to teach various levels of Spanish and/or medical Spanish courses. This appointment will begin on August 26, 2024. Instruction will be delivered in person from at Drake's campus. (We may consider online instruction for a strong candidate).

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree and language teaching experience required.
• Must have native or near-native proficiency.
• Preferred candidates will have experience in teaching Medical Spanish and interpretation courses

The Department of World Languages & Cultures invites applications for an adjunct instructor of German to teach a third-semester German course for the fall semester, starting August 28, 2023.

Minimum Qualifications include a Master's Degree, language teaching experience, and native or near-native proficiency in English and German.

Prairie Ridge Middle School - second semester - Spanish or French position. Ankeny, IA

Prairie Ridge Middle School has a second semester opening for a Spanish or French position. Current staff can teach both languages so we have flexibility. We would love to fill the position with someone permanently but It can also be filled as a long term substitute position with someone who has a teaching license and basic language skills in one of the languages. It is a 9 week 6th and 7th grade exploratory class. Position is posted on the Ankeny School website.
